What the difference between a live chat button and your callback request button?
Live chat and the callback button are two very different experiences for your customers. The problem with live chat is it's just text-based with a lot of waiting happening on your staff's side, and on your customer's side. With a 1-on-1 conversation, questions and concerns can be addressed immediately. Best part is the phone numbers are saved for future campaigns you can run.
How many more leads can I expect from the call back request button?
Depending on where you've embedded the callback button, we've seen the number of inbound leads equal to 1x-3x the number of abandoned checkouts you usually get. So if you receive 5 abandoned checkouts per day, you can expect 5-15 callback requests per day.
What's the conversion rate on callback requests?
This also depends store to store and also depends on how quickly you make the callback. Callbacks that are made immediately have a higher conversion rate than those made much later. We've seen conversion rates between 25-75% on callback requests.
I already have my phone number displayed, why would I need this?
Allowing your customers to easily reach you is a great idea. But in today's busy world where consumers are always on the go, or only available to call when your store is closed. Many prefer to just be called back, instead of trying to call, getting the answering machine or being left on hold.
